Bank of Utah seeks an IT/Operations Business Analyst in Ogden, Utah.
Duties
- Prepare monthly IT and ALCO report package for senior management (4%)
- Query and clean data to prepare weekly metrics used by telephone, digital, and branch channel managers using SQL and leverage BI tools for data visualization such as Power BI or Tableau (25%)
- Administrate the bank’s IT/Operations Project Portfolio: (a) rate and monitor critical projects; and (b) act as project manager for assigned projects (35%)
- Coordinate the collection of audit evidence of IT-related controls during audits and examination and serve as the primary point of contact during audits and exams (15%)
- Update IT department policy and procedure as needed (2%)
- Assist in the preparation of annual budgets (4%)
- Pay department bills (3%)
- Meet with various business units to assess department needs and issues (10%)
- Such other related duties and responsibilities as assigned (2%)
Requirements
- Master’s Degree in Information Systems with an emphasis in Business Intelligence and Data Analytics, or closely-related field
- Bachelor’s Degree in Economics or closely-related field
- Demonstrable working knowledge of and proficiency in: (a) data cleaning, modeling, and visualization with Tableau or Power BI; (b) the use of SQL; and (c) the use of statistics and predictive analytics
- Must hold: (a) Six Sigma Green Belt certification; (b) a Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) certificate from the Project Management Institute; and (c) a Graduate Certificate of Business Analytics (GCBA)
