Matt Nelson

Since joining the banking world in 2004, Matt has built a diverse career spanning roles as a Branch Manager, Credit Analyst, Portfolio Manager, and Commercial Relationship Manager. His expertise in financial management and lending has made him a trusted leader in the industry. Matt holds a BS in Business Management from Brigham Young University and an MBA from the University of Phoenix.

Outside of work, he’s a passionate sports fan, cheering for BYU, the Utah Jazz, and Real Salt Lake. He also enjoys reading, skiing, hiking, pickleball, traveling, and spending time with his family. When he’s not working, you might find him on the golf course, working his way from a duffer to a hacker. His ultimate goal? Getting his kids to mow the lawn or shovel snow from the driveway someday.
