Ogden, Utah - In a testament to the strong bond between Bank of Utah and the local community, the financial institution has once again earned the title of “Best Bank” in the Ogden Standard-Examiner’s annual Readers Choice Awards. This marks the bank’s third consecutive win.
With residents casting their votes, these awards hold special significance as they reflect the bank’s standing among its customers and neighbors.
Bank of Utah President Branden Hansen expressed immense gratitude for the honor and emphasized the deep connection between the bank and the local community.
“Winning the Readers Choice award for three consecutive years is truly humbling. Our employees work tirelessly to support local businesses, offer financial guidance to individuals and families, and create opportunities for growth. This award is a reflection of the trust our community places in us, and it motivates us to continue going above and beyond to meet their financial needs.” — Branden P Hansen, Bank of Utah President
The bank’s commitment to community support extends beyond financial services. Over the years, Bank of Utah has actively participated in various local events, contributed to charitable initiatives and forged partnerships to boost the local economy.
Most recently, the bank partnered with the Federal Home Loan Bank of Des Moines to donate over $124,000 to Utah nonprofits. It also just concluded its first Where’s the Wallet Cash Quest, which sent more than 6,800 local questers on a search to find a wallet worth $20,000. Half of the prize money was donated on the winner’s behalf to the YCC Family Crisis Center in Ogden.
Along with the Readers Choice award, Bank of Utah also received two additional awards in 2023: Best of Northern Utah (Best Bank) and Best of Southern Utah (Mortgage Services).
“Again, we are grateful for these honors and remain committed to serving our community with excellence,” Hansen said.
