As someone managing the books for a business, your time is precious and your to-do list is long. With that in mind, we’re excited to share the recent updates to the Payments section of online banking — updates that will help you stay organized and efficient as you're paying your business bills.
Here’s what you’ll find within Payments, under the Commercial tab of online banking:
Better Organization
When you first arrive within Payments, you’ll see that your templates have been organized by type, making it easy to navigate straight to the template you need.
You’ll also see an option to “+ create template,” allowing you to start a new one.
When you’re ready to make a new payment, you’ll also see that your payment options are laid out by type (ACH, Wire, Other), making it simpler to structure the payment as you need.
Better ACH Process
Need to make an ACH payment? Everything you need to see is now on one streamlined screen.
At the bottom of the screen, you have the option to cancel, draft or approve. No need for multiple clicks to take that important action.
Better Functionality
Within the recipient section of the ACH payments screen, you have new options to manage who payments are sent to.
First, with the new search functionality, you can pull up past recipients. Look for the spy glass in the box marked “Find recipients in payments”.
Do you need to make a payment that includes multiple recipients? Click on “+ multiple recipients,” and you can include more than one receiver all from the same place. Once the recipient is added, click on the three vertical dots to the right of the name to add the addendum to a payment.
Better Forms
Managing payments also means managing recipients. With these updates, that part is easier too.
Do you need to add a new recipient? Similar to ACH transactions all being on one screen, adding a new recipient can be done in a single view. Just add in the name as it should be displayed, an email address, payment details and recipient details. Then you’re set to hop into the payment workflow and get the money on its way.
Additional Features
You’ll see "kebabs" throughout online banking: three vertical dots to the right side of certain elements. Clicking the kebabs will open a small menu of additional options. Consider this a bonus toolbox when more precise tools are needed.
