Employees from Bank of Utah’s Ogden and Roy branches delivered car loads of diapers, bottles, formula, handmade blankets, toys and cash to Catholic Community Services of Northern Utah Thursday, July 23. Eighteen Bank of Utah branches, trust offices and mortgage loan offices throughout Utah collected donations of cash and baby items in June and July for the bank’s third annual Shower Them With Love project. The bank is in process of delivering baby items to a total of eight charities in Utah that will distribute the donations to moms and babies in need from Tremonton to St. George.

Catholic Community Services of Northern Utah has a special room set aside for such donations. The non-profit’s St. Martha’s Baby Project distributes 50 to 60 layettes each month to low-income mothers of newborns through northern Utah hospitals including McKay Dee, Ogden Regional, Davis Hospital and the WIC program in Box Elder County.

Additional Utah charities to receive donations include: Cache Community Food Pantry in Logan, Tremonton Community Pantry, the Family Support Center in Brigham City, Community Action Services and Food Bank in Orem, Crossroads Urban Center in Salt Lake City, Bountiful Community Pantry, and the Hope Pregnancy Care Center in St. George.
