This October, we are hosting Fall Author Events in Salt Lake City, Logan, Lehi and Ogden for our customers and friends in the business community. Our guest speaker for these events is Larry Gelwix. Some of you may know him as "The Winningest Coach in America" or perhaps the "Getaway Guru." Attendees will see Larry's presentation "Attitude & Effort: The Muscle of Resilience", enjoy lunch, and have the opportunity to connect with members of the community.
Larry Gelwix served as the volunteer Head Coach of the Highland Rugby team for 36 years. The team’s success and record of 418 wins and just 10 losses, including 20 national championships, caught the attention of Hollywood which produced a major motion picture, “Forever Strong”, which tells the true life story of Coach Gelwix and the Highland team. Gelwix was also the subject of a documentary entitled, “Larry Gelwix: No Regrets”, which won an Emmy Award for “Best Documentary” and has aired on national television.
Larry has addressed conventions, seminars, groups, corporate meetings and university commencements, and has conducted various training sessions around the world on leadership, ethics, and universal moral values that contribute to sustainable success. He is a master storyteller and electrifies audiences with his combination of wit, wisdom, and practical leadership skills.
