Looking for a way to give back, strengthen your community, and boost support for a nonprofit you care about?
Bank of Utah is, too. After a hard year, it’s time to spread love and light throughout our communities.
Join us for the inaugural Bank of Utah Spring into Service Scavenger Hunt, and let’s work together to see how many service projects we can check off our list!
How It Works:
- Take a picture of you and/or friends completing up to two of the services listed below any time through June 30.
- Post your service pictures on Facebook, Instagram or Twitter using the hashtag #bouspringservice.
- Tag @Bank of Utah, as well as the name/tag of a nonprofit organization. When we receive your post, Bank of Utah will pay it forward and donate $10 to the nonprofit you've mentioned.*
Choose your service project.
Pick from the list below and, when possible or if applicable, ask for permission before performing the service.
- Pay for someone’s meal who is behind you in a drive-thru or restaurant.
- Pick up a bag’s worth of trash from the streets of your local community.
- Sweep someone’s porch.
- Take out a neighbor's trash.
- Give a thank you card to a local first responder for all they have done this past year.
- Clean someone’s car.
- Take a grocery cart back for someone.
- Pay a compliment to a stranger and give them a flower.
- Wash 3 car windshields at a gas station.
- Leave 5 uplifting notes in a public restroom, on someone’s front door or in their yard.
- Plant a tree/flower/plant (make sure you’re allowed first).
- Mow a neighbor’s lawn with their permission.
- Water someone’s flowers with their permission.
- Vacuum a relative's living room with their permission.
- Hold the door open for someone.
- Leave a nice gift at someone’s front door (card, flowers, $5-10 present, food, etc.).
- Walk a friend/relative/neighbor’s dog.
- Help someone do spring cleaning outside.
- Volunteer your time at a charity.
- Donate food to your local food bank or clothing/household items to a shelter.
Choose where you'd like the $10 donation to go.
