Replacing the separate CardValet app for personal accounts, Card Manager gives you full control directly in Bank of Utah's online banking or mobile app. From monitoring transactions, to locking and unlocking your cards, to receiving real-time updates, you’ll have all the tools you need in one convenient place.

NOTE: Business account holders will continue to use CardValet® for managing their business debit cards.

What is Card Manager?

Card Manager is your new tool for managing Bank of Utah debit cards. It replaces CardValet for personal accounts and is fully integrated into online banking and the Bank of Utah mobile app for a more seamless, convenient and secure experience.

Business account holders will continue to use CardValet to manage their business debit cards.

Who can use Card Manager?

Card Manager is available for personal account holders with debit cards. Business account holders will continue to use CardValet for business debit cards.

How do I access Card Manager?

Access Card Manager through online banking or the Bank of Utah mobile app:

Online Banking: Log in and select Card Manager in the green navigation menu at the top.
Mobile App: Update the app to access Card Manager. Once updated, log in to get started. You'll find Card Manager in the menu at the bottom of the screen.

Do I need to delete the CardValet app?

Yes, if you are a personal account holder, you should delete the CardValet app once you transition to Card Manager to avoid duplicate notifications and confusion.

Can I view my card details?

Yes, you can securely view your full card number, expiration date and CVV within Card Manager.

Can I turn my debit card on or off?

Yes, you can turn your debit card on or off to help protect against fraud. When your card is “off,” no withdrawals or purchases will be approved.

Can I see insights into my spending?

Yes, Card Manager offers spending insights for debit card purchases, categorized by merchant type, location and time of purchase.

Can I change or set my PIN?

Yes, you can securely change or set your card’s PIN in Card Manager.

How do I notify the bank about travel plans?

Set travel notifications directly in Card Manager. Most destinations are supported, but for certain countries, contact our customer service team for assistance.
